More so than watching a movie or reading a book about WWI. <br />This reminded me of Pompeii, too, and the Titanic, in a strange sort of way. I remember seeing pictures of the discoveries in Pompeii in National Geographic when I was little and being alternately horrified and fascinated. Same with these. Maybe that makes me morbid.
