TO HEAL A HEART by Shaen Layle, Reviewed by Paula Shreckhise

Cozy mystery connected to workers and friends at Mercy Hospital.

Evelyn is in the records department at the hospital. She and her friends, who are committed Christians, have a knack for solving puzzling situations. Evelyn and her husband, James, witness an accident involving a cyclist and a horse-drawn carriage. Evelyn puts her sleuthing hat on when she questions whether this was just an accident. Things get curious when Paul, who was injured, gets threatening notes along with his get-well flowers. Could they be connected to the story he is researching for a newspaper article?

Evelyn starts snooping and trying to rule out who could be sending the notes. But through it all she learns some valuable lessons:

1. She can’t do it all.

2. It is best to let God do His job.

3. She should not pre-judge.

Great little cozy with action that moved the story along.
