TO WIN A PRINCE by Toni Shiloh, Reviewed by Nicole and Paula

NICOLE'S REVIEW:
A fabulous follow-up to author Toni Shiloh's novel In Search of a Prince. As a longtime fan of Toni Shiloh's contemporary romances, I knew I would not be disappointed with this novel.

In this modern-day royal fairy tale set on the breathtaking African island of Ọlọrọ Ilé, Iris Blakely, the African queen's best friend, gets her chance to shine. Readers were also introduced to Prince Ekon in the previous novel, with his failed plot to dethrone the new African queen. Even if you haven't read In Search of a Prince, this novel can easily be read as a standalone.

Author Toni Shiloh creates a beautiful tale of faith, love, and redemption that readers will be sure to enjoy. She continues to bring a much-needed diversity to Christian fiction. Toni Shiloh always incorporates faith messages authentically into her storylines and reminds us of God’s faithfulness and to always trust in Him.

To Win a Prince is highly recommended for readers of contemporary romance, especially those who enjoy books by authors such as Becky Wade, Denise Hunter, and Melissa Tagg.

PAULA'S REVIEW
Toni Take Me Away!

There is so much to love about this story in a mythical, modern place. The setting is just beautiful.

Iris, who is best friends with Queen Brielle, is trying her best to elevate the women of a section of the island kingdom. Her fashion business would showcase the area and bring the residents out of poverty. She is a Christian who is charitable and prays about all aspects of her life.

Poor Ekon, living out an edict from the royal council to help Iris launch her business, is at loose ends when all he knew as a Prince is stripped away. He has some growing up to do.

Ms Shiloh gives us a memorable story in a unique place that teaches spiritual truths. The story flows effortlessly but that does not mean the hero and heroine have no obstacles to overcome. It means that she does a super job of bringing pertinent concerns to the forefront and confronting us with them. And giving us the answer in Jesus!

Well done romance that progresses as the characters grow. I want to go back to Oloro Ile for more great stories.

BackCover Blurb:
Can she stop herself from falling before she's too far gone?

As a fashion aficionado and best friend of the queen of the African island country Ọlọrọ Ilé, Iris Blakely dreams of using her talent to start a sustainable clothing line to help citizens in impoverished areas and honor the country's resources. But when she discovers that Ekon Diallo--the man who betrayed her best friend--will be her business consultant, the battle between her desires and reality begins.

Ekon Diallo has lost everything: his princely title, his material possessions, his friends, and the respect of his fellow Ọlọrans. To pay for his actions against Ọlọrọ Ilé, he's forced to assist the charismatic Iris Blakely--but he can't allow his heart to distract him from regaining his status.

Though they come from vastly different worlds, Iris and Ekon are both determined to reach their goals, and the only way to do that is to work together--if they can just keep their hearts from getting in the way . . .
