I'll Take Awesome Group Blogs for 1000, Alex

by Jennifer AlLee

Our illustrious leader, Gina, asked me not to make anyone cry today. So, rather than wax nostalgic, I want to ask you a simple question: How well do you know the Inkies? In the spirit of one of my fave shows, Jeopardy, I'll give you the answer and you may respond in the form of a question. Everyone who leaves answers in the comments will be entered for a chance to win a copy of my novel, The Pastor's Wife. (Wish the prize could be bigger, but we don't have a Jeopardy size budget.)
  1. This Inky loves fancy-schmancy tea parties.
  2. This Inky is retired from the Canadian Armed Forces.
  3. This Inky lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest.
  4. This Inky holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  5. This Inky is a fifth generation Texan.
  6. This Inky has a degree in Statistics.
  7. This Inky was born in Hollywood and now lives in Las Vegas.
  8. This Inky loves dancing and hanging out at the ocean.
  9. This Inky worked in news radio writing copy.
  10. This Inky lives in a part of Colorado where the deer and elk outnumber people.
  11. This Inky has been a missionary to the Seychelles and Gabon.
  12. This Inky hears voices in her head and writes a mash up of Gospel and Gothic.
Are you ready with your clickers? Name those Inkies!

(Here's a hint... you can find all the answers on our "Who We Are" page.  Have fun!)

Hey gals! When I was writing this post, I was amazed by the unique lives all of us have led. There were things I didn't know until I sat down and really read all the bios.

Rick, you are correct! Now, just 11 more to go. Who's got an answer... or should I say, a question?

I had to think a bit on the 'statistics' one but the rest of you are all too obvious. I mean, I actually READ your bios.

Hey, Rick, you are correct!

Can I just say we sound much more fascinating in Answer form...

Love this, Jen! It is awesome to know the answers to so many jeopardy questions! That usually only happens for me during high school week... :-)

ANSWER: This group has more fun and more great info than any other I've been a part of.

QUESTION: Who are The Inkies?

Gina Welborn said...

Oh, y'all are silly. Although we do have fun, DeAnna, so you're smart and silly. ;-)

#4 Who is Barbara Early?

Debra E. Marvin said...

Good question. I've been asking that for a year? Who is Barbara Early?
No. Seriously. It's a sweet treat to meet the other inkies in person. We haven't all done that by far!
Barb is my neighbor Inky and I saw her first. ha ha.

Serves me right for going to bed early. I missed Janice and a good ribbing from Deb. LOL.
