His Name is Wonderful!

I think a lot of us here at the Inkwell have been struggling. Family issues and work problems and money struggles and, of course, the dreaded deadlines. I just turned in two manuscripts and then realized I had to very quickly come up with a synopsis for a third. I'm so thankful for the work, but sometimes I just don't want to have to do anything. Sometimes I just need to take a break and relax and have a bit of fun. Sometimes I just need to make it all stop and go away.

But then I remember how blessed I am, how privileged I am to do the job I do, to have the friends and family I have, to live in this country, and all the rest of it. Even without any of that, though, I still have lots to be thankful for, lots to smile about. I have a God who loves me, who cares about me, who wants to just hang out with me. He is enough. Whatever else is going on, He is enough. And His name is wonderful.


Bryan Duncan has been my favorite Christian artist for a very, very long time. If you remember him, dig out those old CDs and enjoy. If you never heard of him, give him a try. He's a lot of fun, and he'll make you cry, too. A ton of his songs are available on YouTube.
