Have you ever read a book that you just don’t want to end? One where everything, from the storyline to the characters to the town, is done so perfectly you could just keep reading it? This is how I feel about The Cowboy’s Secret Past by Tina Radcliffe. I loved this story from the first word to the very last word. I literally would not change a thing!
Tina Radcliffe is the absolute best when it comes to writing small towns with great families. If there was a Homestead Pass, I would move there in a heartbeat and somehow, someway live on the Morgan ranch! I absolutely love this family. Trevor, Hope, and Cole’s story is such a great one. I loved how Trevor mentored Cole and how he slowly fell for Hope. I loved Hope and how she overcame her fears to stay with Trevor. I also loved the forgiveness in this story. Trevor’s past was problematic, but he chose to trust God and follow Him. Such a beautiful faith message!
You cannot go wrong with a Tina Radcliffe story! I highly recommend all of her books, but this series and this story may just be my favorite!

It’s always such a treat to start a new book by talented author Tina Radcliffe. She’s a pro at writing charming, engaging small-town stories that seep into your heart. The Cowboy’s Secret Past features rancher Trevor Morgan who has changed his life and worked hard to overcome his past. When Nurse Hope Burke shows up to care for Trevor’s grandfather, she brings along her nephew Cole who has just lost his mother. She has reason to believe that Trevor is Cole’s father.
I absolutely loved the way that Trevor treated Cole and had him help around the ranch, even though he felt he wasn’t Cole’s father. They developed such a wonderful relationship, and it showed Trevor’s commitment to living a better life. Hope was also endearing and sweet, and her sunny, optimistic attitude was a delight.
This is a delicious and well-crafted story of redemption, compassion, and hope. There is a lot of Radcliffe’s signature wit and humor involved, and I completely enjoyed reading it.
