This story had everything a reader could ask for; flawed characters, an high stakes plot, a smart, intuitive Belgian Malinois, and a criminal whose twisted motives created a serial killer. The book is also a deserving tribute to the many wounded warriors who continue their service to our country from behind closed doors of security clearances and experimental rehabilitation. In addition, it felt wonderful to spend time with the Elite Guardians once again!
