PAULA'S REVIEW:
I love this author when she writes historical books and am captivated by her contemporary offerings.

This was an enemies-to-love trope with a love triangle and scandal thrown in for good measure.
The part I liked most was the historical angle about The Roost, a 300 year old building and the mystery surrounding its original owners from the 1600s.
The story was so much more than a romance. It was about complex family relationships which begged for healing and forgiveness. The setting was a favorite place of mine: Williamsburg, Virginia and told a bit about William and Mary College. The information about building a golf course and Jack, his health issues and background was very interesting.
If you enjoy Ms Camden’s historical stories, try one of her contemporaries. You will not be disappointed.
