A Gripping Small-Town Romance of Faith, Danger, and a Love Worth Fighting For \

(Coastal Hope Book 1)

REBECCA'S REVIEW
"I only hope I can figure out what brought her here before it's too late."

Eliza Pierce had driven across the country planning to keep her head down, spend a lot of time on the beach, forget about the past, and look forward to a future without her overbearing, abusive husband; in a word, freedom! Against all odds, Eliza is immediately thrust into circumstances beyond her control and practically forced to rely on the first man who came across her path, Lance Riley; who arrived to install her hot water heater and caught the unfortunate ire of the town's newest resident.

When the woman with whom he got off on the wrong foot shows up at his private security firm, Lance attempts to exert the art of diplomacy to smooth over Eliza's lingering hostility. She is obviously scared out of her wits, but just stubborn enough to resist his help, until whoever is surveilling her turns up the heat, sending her back to his office for assistance. Lance is convinced that the beautiful divorcee has been placed in his path for a reason, God has made that very clear. What isn't so certain is whether or not he can keep her safe, the person they are trying to locate is as evasive as a ghost.

Taut romantic tension begins building in this story the very moment that Lance's big white truck pulls up to Eliza's vintage lighthouse home. Mix those sorts of emotions with those generated by a creepy, crawly stalker and you have the perfect recipe for a thrilling romantic suspense. What makes this plotting so incredibly special is the gentle way in which Lance shares God's truths with this broken and battered woman whose heart is exceedingly thirsty for everlasting love.

Readers will enjoy every moment spent with this story!

A #1 Bestseller in Christian Romantic Suspense and first-place winner in the Firebird Book Awards.

She’s on the run from a man who wants her dead.

He’s the one man strong enough to protect her…and the last man she should fall for.

After years of fighting for her life, Eliza Pierce thought moving across the country would finally give her peace. But when someone tries to kill her in broad daylight, she realizes the truth:

There’s nowhere left to run.

Terrified and out of options, Eliza turns to Lance Knight—a former Army veteran turned private security expert with a haunted past and a dangerous protective streak. Lance is everything she wants to avoid: strong, steady, and far too capable of breaking through the walls she’s built around her heart.

As the threats against Eliza escalate and a relentless stalker closes in, Lance vows to keep her alive at all costs. But the deeper their connection grows, the more dangerous the truth becomes.

Because trusting him could save her life…or cost them both everything.

In a battle against unseen enemies, buried secrets, and their own broken pasts, Eliza and Lance must decide if faith, love, and redemption are worth the ultimate risk.
