When Muriel Quinn dove into her beloved ocean to rescue a stranger, she never imagined that her heart would bond so securely with a man whom she had never met. The problem was, she had no idea who he was, even after pulling him ashore, coaxing his lungs into breathing again, and then scrambling out of sight for propriety's sake. My goodness! What proper young woman would be caught wearing such a form fitting bathing costume?
Determined to find the handsome stranger, Muriel soon discovers that Zane Erickson is the son of a powerful, wealthy businessman, prompting her to make a decision that comes back to haunt her. She aligns herself with a scheming matchmaker whose terms entangle both Muriel and Zane into a dangerous web of deceit. Thankfully Zane is just as anxious to become acquainted with the mysterious red haired beauty who sang him out of the sea, but it may not be enough to save them.
This imaginative Texas based fairy tale re-telling was an absolute delight to read!
