It was incredibly refreshing to read a fast moving suspense that was at times more romantic than suspenseful. And romantic it was. Gil's love and affection for Ivy was founded on years of childhood friendship that had unfortunately been severed, and partially destroyed, only to be restored at just the right time. However, don't be lulled into amorous bliss, this book begins and ends with a mother-load of "malicious intent".
