It was such a treat to return to Sunrise Bend, Wyoming for another story in Jill Kemerer’s Wyoming Ranchers series. Kemerer is a master at creating realistically-flawed, endearing, relatable characters and wrapping a delicious story around them that keeps the reader engaged. I enjoyed seeing the character growth in Mac Tolbert and Bridget Renna, the main characters in The Mistletoe Favor. Mac has inherited a fortune from his deceased father and has custody of his sister. Bridget is trying to make a success of her new coffee shop after moving to Sunrise Bend from New York City. When she agrees to hire Mac’s sister, Kaylee, she gets to know Mac better and see what he’s really like.
“It’s easy to look at someone like you and assume your life is perfect.”
Kemerer’s sweet and charming stories always warm the heart, and this one is perfect for a clean, festive Christmas read.
