Another great story that takes place in Wallins Landing with all the familiar characters from past books.

Katie Jo works hard for her Uncle Cole, downplaying her femininity by wearing trousers and flannel. She feels beholden to her uncle and ailing brother Zeke. But it isn’t until she dons a dress that the men in the logging camp start to take notice. Especially Harry who caught her eye with his hardworking and polite ways. But her uncle just wants her to take care of him, always bringing up that she owes him since her parents died.

With humor and a little excitement, and characters who rely on God, the story comes to a fairy tale ending.
