Appointment in Bath by Mimi Matthews is the 4th story in the Somerset Stories series. While this could be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the entire series because all of the stories are not only great, but it will add so much more depth to this story.
Appointment in Bath is everything I’ve come to expect from a Mimi Matthews story. The forbidden romance between Ivo and Meg was very sweet. I liked how they became friends first. Both characters were very likable which made me root for them from the start. There were times that they were both a bit immature, but that makes sense considering their ages, Meg is only 18 and Ivo is 23. Without giving away anything, I liked how Ms. Matthews wrote Meg’s father in this story.
I’m looking forward to the next story in this series. If you’re looking for a well written sweet, clean romance, this is the story for you!
