Physicians Assistant Lainie Jackson lived through a nightmare eighteen months ago and it has come back to haunt her, when she thinks she sees her dead fiancé, Adam Williams. Someone wants to scare her and possibly wants her dead. But toying with her mentally brings help in the form of Detective James Cross, the brother of her best friend.
Exciting from the first page, this story was non-stop danger, difficult family dynamics, with the faith of Lainie and James being tested but standing strong. Lots of unexpected twists and turns kept my interest and I finished the book in record time. It held breathtaking scenes like I was watching a movie. A thrill packed start to a new series that is sure to please fans of romantic suspense.
*I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell on behalf of the author. I was not required to post a favorable review. All opinions are my own.* 5 stars and a strong faith thread
