If you love cozy mysteries, then this book should be just your cup of tea— or coffee in this case!
A group of ladies of various ages meet for book club on Tuesday evenings. They are small business owners, a few retirees and an elementary school teacher. They seem to get into trouble that takes all of the friends working together to solve the crimes.
The novellas are written in a pleasing style that meshes together to get a picture of a small town that I would want to visit.
A “perk” for me was when a friend pointed out that Darlene Franklin had used my name as a suspect in NUTS FOR COFFEE! Am I the culprit? Guess you’ll have to read this wonderful collection of stories to find out!
Each novella had interesting details, I learned about anaphylactic reaction in NUTS FOR COFFEE and many facts about bees in THE HONEY HIVE MYSTERY by Dana Mentink. And look for a couple yummy recipes in NUTTY AS A FRUITCAKE by Janice Thompson.
* I borrowed this book from the public library. All opinions are my own.*
I give it 5 stars.
