FAKING GRACE by Tamera Leigh, Reviewed by Kim

As I listened to each story in this series, I kept thinking there was no way the next story could be as good as the previous one. Happily, I was totally wrong. This entire series is wonderful and well worth your time! Each story is full of humor, character growth and depth.
When Grace and Jack meet for the first time, it is hilarious. Both of these characters are wonderful and very easy to like. I loved how their relationship grew throughout the story. And, I especially loved how there wasn’t a quick easy answer for them at a critical point in their relationship, which made it seem very realistic.

Tamara Leigh does a great job showing that Christians are not perfect people. We sin and have problems just like everyone else, but we are blessed to have God’s grace and His mercy! This story might also challenge you a bit on the depth of your relationship with God. Are you a cultural Christian who just wears the label “Christian” or do you have a real relationship with Christ?

If you have not read or listened to this story, I highly highly recommend it, as well as the rest of the series. They are all stand-alone reads.

ALL SHE WANTS IS A JOB. ALL SHE NEEDS IS RELIGION. HOW HARD CAN IT BE?

Maizy Grace Stewart dreams of a career as an investigative journalist, but her last job ended in disaster when her compassion cost her employer a juicy headline. A part-time gig at a Nashville newspaper might be her big break.

A second job at Steeple Side Christian Resources could help pay the bills, but they only hire committed Christians. Maizy is sure she can fake it with her Five-Step Program to Authentic Christian Faith. If only Jack Prentiss, Steeple Side’s managing editor and British hottie, wasn’t determined to prove her a fraud.

When Maizy’s newspaper boss pressures her to expose any skeletons in Steeple Side’s closet, she must decide whether to deliver the dirt and secure her career or lean on her newfound faith, change the direction of her life, and pray that her colleagues—and Jack—will show her grace.
