Part of Kim's List of Favorites for 2019, so we're happy to post the review!
I am not even sure where to start with this review! I pretty much loved everything about this story! Andrea did rub me a bit wrong a few times, but James totally makes up for it! What a great character! He is definitely in my top favorite male characters of all time! I mean he is just perfection! While Andrea did bug me a bit at first, once I found out about her background, it totally makes sense why she is a bit standoffish with James at the beginning of the story.
And let’s not forget the setting! Carla Laureano does such an excellent job at describing the Isle of Skye, that when I googled it, it looked exactly like how I imagined it would! It’s now on my bucket list. This is a great story! If you haven’t read it yet, you need to!

BackCover Blurb:
RITA award winner!
Andrea Sullivan is so consumed by her hospitality-consultant job that she’s forgotten what brings her joy. She dreads her new assignment—a last chance to snag a high-profile client in Scotland. Yet the lush Isle of Skye transcends her preconceptions. As does the man she must impress, the rugged, blue-eyed Scotsman James MacDonald.
He’s passionate about cooking, but after six restaurants, four cookbooks, and his own television show, he’s grown weary of the scrutiny that comes with living in the public eye.
Soon Andrea and James begin to sense these five days in Skye together may just be God’s wild invitation into deeper life . . . and truer love.

Kim, your ferry awaits... |
Kim chose this as one of her favorite reads in 2019 and I had to agree. Because we didn't share that particular review, I wanted to do so now. I am wishing and hoping this becomes an audiobook. Because its an amazing story and we can't have too many books set in Scotland, right? Thanks Kim!
