NO ROOM AT THE INN by Melody Carlson, Reviewed by Paula Shreckhise

Edith and Pastor Charles own a Bed and Breakfast in a quaint Christmas themed town of Christmas Valley. Their children are unable to visit this year, so they book in some guests. They pray that God would send them just the right people who need God’s love this Christmas. Several couples, a mother and daughter, an elderly man and an abrupt old women show up. Then a young couple about to have a baby break down in front of the Inn. Anything can happen at the Church Christmas play!

This was a delightful story about how God provides when circumstances seem dire. Healing and a little matchmaking take place, too. Lesson learned: do not be surprised when God answers prayer and you are willing to be used by being hospitable.
*I purchased this book from a library sale. All opinions are my own.*4 stars and an underpinning faith thread.
