In this sweet romance, the power of love and the miracle of faith promise hope and healing in the beautiful Victorian known affectionately as The Memory House.
When Beck Holiday lost her father in the North Tower on 9/11, she also lost her memories of him. Eighteen years later, she’s a tough New York City cop burdened with a damaging secret, suspended for misconduct, and struggling to get her life in order. Meanwhile a mysterious letter arrives informing her she’s inherited a house along Florida’s northern coast, and what she discovers there will change her life forever. Matters of the heart only become more complicated when she runs into handsome Bruno Endicott, a driven sports agent who fondly recalls the connection they shared as teenagers. But Beck doesn’t remember that either.
Decades earlier, widow Everleigh Applegate lives a steady, uneventful life with her widowed mother after a tornado ripped through Waco, Texas, and destroyed her new, young married life. When she runs into old high school friend Don Callahan, she begins to yearn for change. Yet no matter how much she longs to love again, she is hindered by a secret she can never share.
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Wedding Dress comes the inspirational story of two women whose lives have been destroyed by disaster but find healing in a special house.
This inspirational read is a mix of contemporary and historical and is a standalone novel.

I really do enjoy time slip novels. I feel sometimes you get a more full story because you're getting so much back story! Thank you for this awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like time slip novels because the history rounds out the present day story. I also like seeing how the historical pieces intertwine with present story.
ReplyDeleteLovely cover. Very fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed the ones I've read so far :) the past intervenes with present - it's intriguing :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy them if they're well-done. Sometimes it can be disconcerting moving back and forth between time periods. Rachel Hauck does a great job with dual timelines.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds intriguing and like a very good read! I would love to rad this book. Thank you for sharing about this book and the author. aliciabhaney@sbcglobal.net

ReplyDeleteI enjoy time slip novels because I can have both contemporary and historical stories all in one book. Thanks for the chance to win The Memory House. I always enjoy Rachel Hauck's books.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy time slip novels. I read The Wedding Dress by Rachel not to long ago!
ReplyDeleteI love time-slip novels. I love the way they start out with two very different stories and the author creates a way to bring both together in the end. This can also give me some history (historical fiction is my favorite) and some contemporary fiction too.
