WINNIE'S REVIEW:
What
fun it was to travel back to Rebel, Oklahoma and spend more time with
the Rainbolt family! This time we got Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper’s
story, although I wasn’t sure if Tucker was ever going to figure out
what (or who) was missing in his life. One of my favorite tropes is best
friends to more, and Tucker and Jena definitely qualified for the best
friends roles. They had gone to college together and then started their
veterinarian clinic together.
Tina Radcliffe is a master at
creating swoony, amazing heroes and lovely heroines. They are always so
endearing and easy to relate to. The witty banter between the characters
was such fun. A stellar cast of secondary characters added to my
enjoyment of the story. Who can resist a couple of four-year-old twins
named Hazel and Ginger? Of course, there were also appearances by
characters in the previous books in the series. Mitch and Reece had to
meddle a bit in their brother Tucker’s life.
This has been such a
fun series. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us
next. Her sense of humor is always a highlight of her stories. *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. All opinions are my own.
BackCover Blurb:
A new beginning could be closer than he thinks.
What he wants for Christmas…
may not be what he needs.
After receiving an unexpected job offer in Texas, widower Tucker
Rainbolt decides he and his twins need a fresh start. But moving on
means leaving his best friend, Jena Harper, and their vet clinic behind.
For the first time, Tucker sees Jena as more than a buddy. What if
leaving isn’t the answer? Maybe what he’s been missing has been right
beside him the whole time…
