THE BREAKUP PROJECT by Carolyn Miller, Reviewed by Kim


The Breakup Project by Carolyn Miller has everything I like in a contemporary romance! It merged one of my favorite tropes, friends to more, with a sports theme, our hero is a Nation Hockey League player, which I love! It is also the first of a 6 book series where all the hero’s play in the NHL and even better, all of the books come out this year!


I really liked both of the main characters in this story. Mike is so kind and has a heart of gold. I liked him immediately and my heart broke for him a couple of times during the story. Bree, while I really liked her, made some decisions that sort of frustrated me at times, but, for the most part I understood where she was coming from and everything worked out in the end.


I think my favorite part of this story was the faith thread. It was prominent and I loved how Ms. Miller wove it naturally into the story, especially the sermons.
