THE CHASE by Lisa Harrris, Reviewed by Kim

The Chase continues the US Marshals series with partners Jonas and Madison on another case together. This time they are chasing down bank robbers. Even though this is the second book in this series, it can easily be read as a standalone. Since there is a thread that continues from book 1 and Jonas and Madison’s relationship also starts in book one, it will add to your enjoyment of this story if you do read The Escape first. 

I am really enjoying this series. The pacing and action are well done. The secondary mystery thread, that continued from book one, is really good and I can’t wait to find out how that turns out. I am also enjoying the deepening relationship between Jonas and Madison. There was one scene in the book that I felt was pretty unrealistic and didn’t really add to the story, but other than that, I really am enjoying this series and I am looking forward to reading The Catch!
