"TOP TEN" or 20... 2020 Favorites of the Inkwell Inspiration Reviewers - Nicole Cook #GIVEAWAY

During this unprecedented year, I found myself frequently re-reading books from my favorite authors. Revisiting old friends through beloved books was a huge source of comfort for me during this stressful time, so I also included my favorite re-read of the year at the end of my top ten list.

When reflecting on all the books I read during 2020, my reasons for choosing my favorites remain the same as in previous years: wonderful characters who remain with me long after the final page, the ability to make me experience deep emotions, and powerful messages of hope and grace that draw me deeper to my faith. After reading many books each year, the connections I make with the characters and their ability to feel like “friends” to me are what I look for most in choosing my top ten list. Months later, I may not recall minor details of a specific storyline, but I will definitely remember the relationships of the characters and their ability to find a place in my reader’s heart.

Those of you familiar with my reviews know that I generally prefer a healthy dose of romance in my Christian fiction. My favorite genres are contemporary romance and romantic suspense, although I do have several favorite historical and women’s fiction authors as well. Hope you find some new favorite books to add to your TBR list this holiday season!

As a special gift to our Inkwell readers, we will be randomly selecting one winner to get their own brand-new paperback copy of one of the books from my top ten list (winner’s choice from my top ten list)! The only book not eligible is Unseen Enemy because, at this time, it is only available as a free eBook by signing up for the author’s newsletter list.
