RISKING LOVE by Toni Shiloh, Review by Nicole Cook.

Author Toni Shiloh creates an extremely satisfying ending to her beloved Maple Run series in her latest release, Risking Love. She welcomes readers back to the small town of Maple Run, where they will often find their favorite characters hanging out at The Maple Pit, a popular local restaurant. Risking Love can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. However, many of the secondary characters in Risking Love are featured in earlier books in the series, so readers who enjoy this novel will definitely want to read the entire Maple Run series.
In Risking Love, Nikki Gordon, a hostess at The Maple Pit, is attempting to overcome the painful memories of a horrible crime committed against her six years ago by her brother’s best friend. Handsome Shorty Smalls has wanted a relationship with Nikki for years, but due to her past, she has been content to remain as friends. When Shorty shows up at The Maple Pit with a new woman in his life, Nikki needs to decide if she is strong enough to face her fears or if she is prepared to lose her chance at love with Shorty.

Toni Shiloh brings a needed diversity to Christian fiction, and her writing style will appeal to readers of contemporary romance everywhere. Her writing is rich with Scripture and spiritual content, while also giving readers a swoon-worthy romance with wonderful characters who demonstrate good Christian values. Readers will want to visit the fictional town of Maple Run and hang out with Nikki, Shorty, and the rest of their friends.

Toni Shiloh tackles difficult topics with sensitivity and compassion and shares the message that with God, anything is possible. God’s grace and love is constant, and He is always there to comfort us, even during the most difficult times in our lives. Risking Love is a story of healing, the power of friendship, and finding true love.

Risking Love is highly recommended for readers of contemporary romance, especially those who enjoy books by authors such as Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, and Melissa Tagg.
“Just know that I am here for you, whenever you need me. Know that I will wait for you however long it may take. Know that I won’t feel like a second has been wasted, but that God has fashioned us for His perfect timing.”

“Thank You Lord, for showing me that love is a risk worth taking.”
