At one point in the story, Ryan and Leigh are talking about why bad things happen in life and the verse that says when sin entered the world, so did death. Ryan makes this conclusion, “I guess I’ve always seen it as physical and spiritual death, and of course it is, but all those other deaths are also the result of sin.” That’s so true, and honestly, I’ve never really thought of it like that when reading this verse, but sin does result in the death of so much.
I am really looking forward to book 2, Into the Deep, and I can’t wait for Gabe’s story, One Final Breath, which comes out in September!

After a harrowing experience with an obsessed patient, oncology nurse practitioner Leigh Weston needed a change.
